Richard J. Gonzalez is one of the Midwest's most well-known and successful employment attorneys, with 30 years of legal experience. A Professor of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology's Chicago-Kent College of Law, Professor Gonzalez represents employees and employers in a wide variety of discrimination, wrongful discharge, and defamation cases in federal and state court and before local anti-discrimination agencies. His practice places particular emphasis upon negotiation of severance agreements and victims of employment discrimination in cases, including:

  • terminations, lay-offs, downsizing, reductions-in-force
  • sexual harassment, age discrimination
  • pregnancy discrimination, disability discrimination
  • violations of the Family and Medical Leave & Equal Pay Acts
