Financial Aid

The financial aid program at IIT is designed to bridge the gap between the cost of education and the applicant's resources, including family and/or spousal contributions, savings and earnings, and other assets. IIT determines all applicants' needs through a uniform system of analysis.

Various kinds of aid are available, including scholarships awarded by IIT and loans from the federal government and institutional and private agencies. All financial aid funds are based on availability, and formulas and sources are subject to change. The following third-party Web sites provide information about scholarships and grants for international students to study in the United States:

Further information about financial aid, including an annual financial aid guide, is available from the IIT Downtown Campus Office of Financial Aid, which can be reached at 312.906.5180 or finaid@kentlaw.edu. The U.S. Department of Education provides comprehensive information online about student financial aid.
