Help Chicago-Kent Rise in the Rankings -- Complete the Princeton Review's Student Survey for its Best Law Schools Guidebook

On Monday, January 25 and Tuesday, January 26, The Princeton Review will conduct a survey of our student body for inclusion in the next edition of the Best Law Schools guidebook.  This book includes a profile of each law school, along with student comments taken from the student surveys conducted at each school.  This is an excellent opportunity for us to ensure a positive profile in the Best Law Schools guide and to share with prospective students what makes Chicago-Kent such an outstanding law school.  As an added bonus, all students who complete the survey will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes to win the audio compact disc of their choice.  All survey responses will remain strictly confidential.  The survey will be conducted by two current Chicago-Kent students on the following days and times:

Location: Spakateria
Dates/Times: Monday, January 25, 1999
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday, January 26, 1999
11:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.

Help the Office of Admissions Improve its Housing Information by Completing the 1L Housing Survey

Each spring, the Office of Admissions mails a housing information sheet to entering law students to assist them in locating housing in Chicago. We would appreciate input from current students on how to improve the information that we provide. All responses will be transmitted anonymously. You may access the survey at http://www.kentlaw.edu/adm/housing_survey.html. Your suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

Thank You to Everyone Who Helped Make the January Open House a Success!

Approximately 200 prospective students attended the final Admissions Open House of 1998-99 last Saturday.  The event was a tremendous success and many of the attendees stopped by the Admissions table to let us know what a difference it had made in their perception of the school.  The Office of Admissions would like to thank the faculty who taught mini-classes, the representatives of our student organizations who represented their groups during the organization fair, and the Chicago-Kent Advocates who helped us run the event and give tours of the building.  Your involvement was crucial to the success of the event.
