Student Assistant Needed for Office of Admissions, Fall 2012
The Office of Admissions is seeking a second or third-year student to work part-time (approximately 10-15 hours per week). The student assistant will give tours of the law school, assist with admissions mailings, and contact prospective students to answer their questions about student life at Chicago-Kent. The position is available immediately and pays $10 per hour. If you are hardworking, customer-service oriented and would like to work in a friendly, high-energy office, please forward your resume and available schedule to Karla Davis, Director of Admissions, kdavis1@kentlaw.iit.edu. Note: Preference will be given to current CK Advocates.
Show your enthusiasm for Chicago-Kent by joining the
Advocates and helping us recruit next year's entering
class - Information Luncheon, September 11 at noon (please note date change from September 4th to the 11th)
Throughout the year, the Office of Admissions seeks assistance
from current law students to help us in continuing to attract
an interesting and diverse student body to the law school. If
you would like to share your enthusiasm about Chicago-Kent
with prospective students, you should consider joining the
Chicago-Kent Advocates, a student group created to promote
Chicago-Kent to prospective students. Advocates help the
Office of Admissions with various on-campus events (such
as open houses and dean's programs) as well as with off-campus
recruiting. Participation is completely voluntary, and Advocates
only attend the events that work with their schedules.
To learn more about the Advocates, come to the Information Luncheon on Tuesday, September 11, at noon in room 305.
For additional information, please contact Gabriela Amador, Associate Director of Admissions, at gamador@kentlaw.iit.edu.
