Applicants must submit evidence of the ability to read, write and speak the language(s) of their proposed study country and must pass a language proficiency examination.

(2) Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarships

Individuals interested in either of these scholarships should contact their local Rotary Club for an application and to inquire about scholarship availability. Since scholarship availability is determined by Rotarian contributions at the local level, not all Rotary clubs will offer scholarships, nor will all types of scholarships necessarily be available in a given year.  Application deadlines are set by individual clubs.
