Throughout the year, the Office of Admissions receives notices of scholarships that are offered through external organizations. Information about the scholarship awards that are currently available is listed below.  Award notices are listed in the order in which they were received.

NEW! The Boone County Bar Association Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: March 31, 2016

The Boone County Bar Association awards scholarship(s) up to $1,000.00 each school year to student(s) that are accepted or currently attending an American Bar Association accredited law school. The applicant must either be a current Boone County resident or a resident of Boone County at the time of his or her high school graduation.

NEW! The Bohemian Lawyers Association Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: April 11, 2016

The Bohemian Lawyers’ Association of Chicago is the oldest ethnic Bar Association in Illinois. We are proud to support our community. The Bohemian Lawyers' Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has awarded $186,000 in grants to 92 law students since 1999. All persons of Czech, Moravian, Ruthenian, Silesian or Slovak ancestry enrolled in an accredited law school in the greater Chicagoland area are eligible for a Bohemian Lawyers’ Association of Chicago (BLAC) annual scholarship. NEW! The Biunno Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: May 9, 2016

The Essex County Bar Association (ECBA) and it's Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, in conjunction with the Hon. Vincent J. Biunno Memorial Fund, is pleased to announce the continuation of the Biunno Scholarship Program for the 2016-2017 school year. The scholarships are designed to offer financial assistance to persons with disabilities who are currently attending law school. The Buckfire & Buckfire Diversity Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: April 1, 2016

The Michigan personal injury lawyers at Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. are pleased to announce the third annual Law School Diversity Scholarship Program. The scholarship will award $2,000.00 to one student selected by our scholarship selection committee. In order to be considered for the scholarship, the student must be a member of an ethnic, racial, or other minority, or demonstrate commitment to issues of diversity within their community. The Illinois Judges Foundation Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: June 1, 2016

The Illinois Judges Foundation will award the Harold Sullivan Scholarship to one or more students attending an Illinois law school. The scholarship(s) will range from $1,000 to $5,000.

To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following criteria: Graduated from an Illinois high school; Does not have a family member who is a judge; Currently is a first or second year law student at an Illinois law school; Has community service or pro bono experience; Has financial need. Kenmore Law Group Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: March 31, 2016

The Kenmore Law Group has established the LAAG Access-For-All Scholarship. This is a quarterly scholarship of $500, offered to a student who plans to pursue a career in the legal field. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist a motivated student, who has demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to the community, to accomplish their dream to practice in the legal field. Waechter Medical-Legal Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: September 1, 2016

Jason Waechter loves both the medical profession and the legal profession. He believes the best of each field have something in common—they solve problems in creative and original ways.
