Throughout the year, the Office of Admissions receives notices of scholarships that are offered through external organizations. Information about the scholarship awards that are currently available is listed below.  Award notices are listed in the order in which they were received.

NEW! The Boling Rice Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: August 31, 2017

We value helping people who show promise and initiative, and for this purpose are pleased to be offering a $1,000 yearly scholarship to help students meet their financial needs. NEW! The Custody X Change Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: August 31, 2017

The Custody X Change Giving Program awards three scholarships to single parents each year. To apply, email us at scholarships@custodyxchange.com, and attach the following:A 400 to 500 word essay, "How will you use your education to improve your family?"

NEW! The Bajaj Law Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: September 1, 2017

The Law Office of Vikas Bajaj, APC , a criminal defense law firm in San Diego, CA, is offering a $2,500 scholarship to one law student throughout the United States. Mr. Bajaj seeks to reward a law student pursuing a career in criminal law. The scholarship will be based on an essay and can be done on any topic. The range can be from 500-1250 words. NEW! The Will County Women's Bar Association Scholarship Award

Application Deadline: September 15, 2017

The Will County Women's Bar Association scholarship is open to individuals who live, work, intern or extern in Will County Illinois. The scholarship is $500 and a waiver of dues to the Will County Women's Bar Association for the first 2 years after admission to the bar. Candidates must live or work or intern/extern in Will County, Illinois. Also, candidates should have compeleted one semester of law school with a GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 or above. Interested candidates should provide a resume, GPA, and in one page or less, state why you want to be an attorney and why you should be considered for the scholarship, including some background about yourself. The Christensen & Hymas Married Student Scholarship Award

Kenneth Christensen and Russell Hymas, the lawyers here are proud to offer a $1,000.00 scholarship for any individuals who qualify. To qualify for this scholarship you must be currently enrolled in or have been accepted to (and planning to attend) a Juris Doctorate program in the United States. You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, cumulative GPA of the current or most recent secondary education program you have attended, must be legally married, and you are required to submit a transcript verifying your GPA and marital status.
