Board Organization
Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the overall organization of the Board.  This member is primarily responsible for the direction of the Board, coordinating with other public interest student organizations as is beneficial, and for getting the word out about A2J.  The Editor-in-Chief also communicates regularly with the Managing and Associate Editors to check on progress, and with legal aid organizations to ensure that A2J’s work is best addressing the needs of those organizations and the clients they serve.
Managing Editor
The Managing Editor assists the Editor-in-Chief in running the organization and deals with somewhat more of the technical aspects of A2J, including A2J Author questions and HotDocs.  The Managing Editor has a heightened responsibility for the continual production of Guided Interviews and works with Illinois Legal Aid Online to get all of the Board’s interviews reviewed and published. This member will also help the Editor-in-Chief with organization of the Board and recruitment.
Associate Editors
Associate Editors are the primary producers of Guided Interviews.  After identifying a legal issue that many pro se litigants have, Associate Editors will begin research and writing a memo on that issue.  They will then create a storyboard for the interview and finally create the interview using A2J Author.  You can learn about  creating a Guided Interview or about any of these positions by contacting the Board at a2jseb@kentlaw.edu.

The A2J Student Editorial Board is an organization affiliated with Chicago-Kent College of Law and the Center for Access to Justice and Technology.
