Center for Access to Justice & Technology

CAJT Home Page
Fall 2007

Chicago-Kent College of Law established the Center for Access to Justice & Technology (CAJT) to make justice more accessible to the public by promoting the use of the Internet in the teaching, practice, and public access to the law.

Volunteer Opportunities

Self-Help Web Center (SHWC)

SHWC is currently seeking volunteer web facilitators for the Self-Help Web Desk at the Daley Center. Volunteers at the web desk gain real-world experience by helping self-represented and under-represented litigants access legal information through the internet. To become an SHWC volunteer or to learn more about this program contact Michael Hoffman at mhoffman1@kentlaw.edu

Public Interest Certificate Program

Chicago-Kent's Public Interest Certificate Program is currently accepting letters of intent for the certificate program. The Certificate requires 12 credit hours for completion, including Public Interest Law and Policy and the public interest section of Legal Writing IV. Letter of intent forms are available on the Center for Access to Justice & Technology website.
