Available Software
Chicago-Kent College of Law provides all first year students with the complete Microsoft
Office Professional 2000 application suite. Students will be provided with a
serial number specific to the user and is available with a valid student ID.
This software bundle includes:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Access
- Microsoft Publisher
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0
For current students who did not pick up or receive software during their
first year a fee of $25.50 will be charged.
Additional Software
In addition to Microsoft Office all students are required to run virus protection
software. Chicago-Kent College of Law provides all students with Mcaffee virus
scanning software. The software can be installed in Room 540 or checked out via
CD. All users are strongly encouraged to update their software as new
virus’s continue to be created. Updates can be done on the user level via
the Kentlaw network or via web at
