With the new year upon us, I'm delighted to begin my tenure as interim dean of Chicago-Kent. Eight years spent on the law school's faculty have only deepened my resolve that Chicago-Kent is a great place to be: Our faculty members are outstanding scholars and teachers. Our academic and clinical programs are among the finest in legal education. And our students and alumnae/i excel in both classrooms and courtrooms and in the larger communities where they work, live and volunteer.

I hope within the next year to get to know many more of you individually. I will keep you posted on news and events at the school through this page, e-mails, law school publications, and get-togethers.
