Televised Coverage of Roberts Confirmation Hearings. The Senate Judiciary Committee will begin holding hearings on Monday, September 12, on the nomination of John Roberts to be Chief Justice. A TV monitor has been set up on the second floor of the cafeteria for those who would like to see the hearings.
