CBA Young Lawyers Section: Student Publication Opportunity. Get published by the Chicago Bar Association! The current director of the @theBar blog (and a 2016 Kent grad) is looking for student-written articles. The blog is a special project of the CBA Young Lawyers Society Record magazine and has published substantive articles in all practice areas; interviews with in-house counsel, judges, and members of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism; Civil Procedure tips; and featured solo practitioners.
Every attorney has had to deal with the challenges and struggles of law school. Law students are also a vital component of the YLS. Therefore, they would like to highlight some of the issues law students face and have students contribute articles to the blog about overcoming these challenges or provide advice about succeeding in law school. You are also free to write pieces about your experiences with the CBA. The length of articles is generally around 500-750 words and does not have to be a formal piece of writing. If you are interested in contributing an article, please reach out to Kenny Matuszewski at kenneth@rabilaw.com.
