CHANGES TO FALL 2001
SCHEDULE OF CLASSES

(revised 8/18/01)

Some of the changes listed below were announced before the end of the Spring term. Please review the list carefully.

New Classes and Sections

Remedies: An evening section of this course has been added to the Fall Schedule. It will be taught by Professor Kenneth L. Gillis and will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:35 - 9:00 p.m. The exam will be on Friday, December 14, 2001, at 6:00 p.m. The course number is 280-051 (3 credits).

Cancelled Courses

The following Fall courses have been canceled due to low enrollment:

Advanced Research: Environmental Law (Prof. Quinn's section, 422-051, Tues. 6:00)
Air Pollution Law and Policy seminar
Electricity & Public Utilities seminar
Energy Law
Litigation Technology
State Constitutional Law
Exam Corrections

Business Organizations: The exam for the day section of Business Organizations will be on Wednesday, December 12, at 1:15 (not 8:30). The time appeared correctly on the exam grid accompanying the final schedule, but was listed incorrectly on the schedule itself.

Tax Fraud and Related Crimes: The exam for this course will be on Saturday, December 15, at 1:15 (not 6:00).

Other Changes & Corrections

Advanced Research: Complex Litigation:  This section of Advanced Research (422-003) will be taught by Professor Scott Fisher (not Howard Prossnitz). Professor Fisher is a 1996 graduate of Chicago-Kent.  He currently practices law with the Chicago firm of Gardner, Carton & Douglas.

Estates & Trusts: The final schedule correctly listed Estates and Trusts as meeting on Mondays & Wednesdays, 10:40-12:40. The course grid for the Day courses, however, listed both the correct days and times, and incorrect days and times (Tues./Thurs. 1:55-3:45). There will only be the one section, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
