*Congratulations to Elizabeth K. Camille (class of 2012) for winning first place in the 2010 SmithAmundsen Excellence in Legal Writing Award.
*Congratulations to Matthew J. Bartmes (class of 2010) for winning first place in the Louis Jackson National Memorial Law Student Writing Competition in Employment and Labor Law.
*Congratulations to Keith R. Syverson (class of 2011) for winning first place in the 2010 Chicago-Kent Institute for Law and the Humanities Paper Competition, and to Jerry D. Thomas (class of 2011) for winning second place in the competition.


Sponsor/Title: Willamette University College of Law, Center for Law and Government/National Writing Competition on Federalism and the U.S. Constitution (Peterson Prize).
Topic: Submissions should address one or more issues, historic or contemporary, involving the principles underlying the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution.

Topic: Any aspect of public or private sector labor and/or employment law.
