Topic: Any part of the New Deal, a series of economic programs implemented in 1933-1936, passed by Congress during the first term of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Prizes: First place, $1,500 and possible publication in the ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Law Jounral; second place, $500 and honorable mention in the Section magazine; third place, honorable mention in the Section magazine.
Deadline: April 1, 2013.


Sponsor/Title: Environmental Law Institute/Constitutional Environmental Law Student Writing Competition.
Topic: Any topic addressing recent developments or trends in U.S. environmental law that have a significant constitutional or "federalism" component.
