The new hours for the Spring semester will begin on MONDAY, JANUARY 14, 2002. The building and library hours are as follows: BUILDING HOURS Sunday 9:45 am - 11:15 pm
LIBRARY HOURS Sunday 10:00 am - 11:00 pm
Library hours will be extended in early May to accommodate students
during final exams (times to-be-announced).
DISCOUNTED PUBLIC PARKING RATES
Discounted parking rates are available to students that display a Chicago-Kent parking sticker in the upper left-hand-corner of their windshield. Stickers for the Spring semester (green sticker) are available in the Bookstore (Concourse Level) for $5. PRESIDENTIAL TOWERS (ROOF TOP PARKING ONLY)

The daily rate will be honored provided you follow these instructions: 1. Bring your IIT I.D. card
Coupons mut be attached to the parking ticket daily and presented when exiting the garage. Coupons can be purchased at the garage cashier booth. Coupons are not dated and can be used for an undetermined period of time. Only one coupon per day (under 12 hours). Full daily rate will be charged if you do not park on the rooftop, do not have your sticker properly displayed and do not have the coupon attached to the ticket daily. Downtown Campus General Safety Tips Do not travel alone in public areas, or stand alone at the bus stop, or corner. Keep alert for person(s) following you. Be wary of strangers offering assistance. Don't openly wear or display jewelry or handbags. The Downtown Campus of IIT provides year-round security officer escorts after 5:00 PM weekdays and on weekends. Shuttle Bus Schedule - UPDATED NOVEMBER 6, 2001IIT operates a shuttle bus service between the main and downtown campuses with other designated stops in between. Please stop by the lobby front desk to pick up a copy of this schedule or jump to the IIT Shuttle Bus Schedule web site.Office HoursThe Office of Administration office hours are:Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM. Reserving a Room at the Downtown CampusFaculty, staff, students and student organizations can reserve rooms at the Downtown Campus for meetings, study, speaker events, etc. Please pickup and complete a room reservation form in the the Office of Administration, Room 265. A memo will be sent to you confirming your reservation within 24 hours. Student Employment for the Fall Term
The payroll authorization should be filled out completely listing
August 20, 2001 or after (if the official start date is after 8/20) as
the "Effective Date" of employment. The faculty member or administrator
who you are working for should fill in the account number and sign the
payroll authorization in the "Department Head" section. All students
should then submit the form to the Office of Administration and Finance
(Suite 265) for processing.
