  DISCOUNTED  PUBLIC  PARKING  RATES

Discounted parking rates are available to students that display a Chicago-Kent parking sticker in the lower left-hand-corner of their windshield.  Parking stickers for the fall semester are available in the Bookstore (Concourse Level) at no charge.

 The daily rate will be honored provided you follow these instructions:

  1. Bring your IIT I.D. card
  2. Place your Chicago-Kent parking sticker to the lower left front windshield of your car (the sticker must be displayed at all times when your vehicle is parked in the parking garage).
  3. Purchase daily parking ticket coupons--available in sheets of five (5)
  4. Park on the roof of the garage

Coupons mut be attached to the parking ticket daily and presented when exiting the garage.  Coupons can be purchased at the garage cashier booth.  Coupons are not dated and can be used for an undetermined period of time.  Only one coupon per day (under 12 hours).

Full daily rate will be charged if you do not park on the rooftop, do not have your Chicago-Kent sticker properly displayed and/or do not have the coupon attached to the ticket daily.

Downtown Campus General Safety Tips

Do not travel alone in public areas, or stand alone at the bus stop, or corner.  Keep alert for person(s) following you.  Be wary of strangers offering assistance.  Don't openly wear or display jewelry or handbags.  The Downtown Campus of IIT provides year-round security officer escorts after 5:00 PM weekdays and on weekends. 

Shuttle Bus Schedule - UPDATED NOVEMBER 6, 2001

IIT operates a shuttle bus service between the main and downtown campuses with other designated stops in between.  Please stop by the lobby front desk to pick up a copy of this schedule or jump to the IIT Shuttle Bus Schedule web site. 

Office Hours

The Office of Administration office hours are: 
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM.

Reserving a Room at the Downtown Campus

Faculty, staff, students and student organizations can reserve rooms at the Downtown Campus for meetings, study, speaker events, etc.  An electronic form is now available online.  An email will be sent to you confirming your reservation within 24 business hours. 

Student Employment for the Fall Term - Chicago-Kent

 A new payroll authorization must be completed by all student employees who work after August 18, 2002 (note: the "Fall Term", for student payroll purposes, begins on August 19, 2002).  Payroll authorizations are available in the OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE, SUITE 265.

 The payroll authorization should be filled out completely listing August 19, 2002 or after (if the official start date is after 8/19) as the "Effective Date" of employment.  The faculty member or administrator who you are working for should fill in the account number and sign the payroll authorization in the "Department Head" section.  All students should then submit the form to the Office of Administration and Finance (Suite 265) for processing.
