STUDENT
EMPLOYMENT FALL 2004

A new payroll
authorization must be completed by all student employees
who will continue to work after August 15, 2004. (NOTE:
"Fall Term", for student payroll purposes, begins
on August 16, 2004). Payroll authorizations are available
in the OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE, SUITE 265 or
you can obtain the Payroll Authorization on-line at http://www.iit.edu/~controller/payauth.html.
The payroll
authorization should be filled out completely listing August
16, 2004 or after (if the student's official start
date is after 8/16/04) as the "Effective Date"
of employment. The faculty member or administrator should
fill in the account number, sign the payroll authorization
in the "Department Head" section. All students
should then submit the form to the Office
of Administration and Finance, Suite 265 for processing.

for members of the DTC community for the SPRING/SUMMER 2005
Terms. Below is the rate information.
The SPRING/SUMMER
2005 permit will be honored through AUGUST 31, 2005.

and staff may pick-up the Fall Semester permit from:

CAMPUS SAFETY TIPS
Do not travel
alone in public areas, or stand alone at the bus stop, or
corner. Keep alert for person(s) following you. Be wary
of strangers offering assistance. Don't openly wear or display
jewelry or handbags. The Downtown Campus of IIT provides
year-round security officer escorts after 5:00 PM
weekdays and on weekends.

A ROOM AT THE DOWNTOWN CAMPUS
Faculty, staff,
students and student organizations can reserve rooms at
the Downtown Campus for meetings, study, speaker events,
etc. An electronic form
is available online. An email will be sent to you confirming
your reservation within 24 business hours.
