STUDENT EMPLOYMENT SPRING 2006

If your student employment ended in December 2005, a new payroll authorization must be completed for the Spring Term beginning JANUARY 17, 2006. Payroll authorizations are available in the OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE, SUITE 265.

The payroll authorization should be filled out completely listing JANUARY 16, 2006 or after as the "Effective Date" of employment. The faculty member or administrator for whom you are working should fill in the account number plus sub-account "1271"and sign the payroll authorization in the "Department Head" section. All students should then submit the form to the Office of Administration & Finance (Suite 265) for processing.

DISCOUNT PARKING FOR DTC FACULTY, STAFF & STUDENTS: SPRING - SUMMER 2006 SEMESTERS (Revised 01/13/06)

PRESIDENTIAL TOWERS and IMPERIAL PARKING are continuing the discounted parking for members of the DTC community for the SPRING - SUMMER 2006 Semesters effective February 1, 2006. Below is the rate information.

The FALL 2005 permit will be honored through JANUARY 31, 2006.

Faculty and staff may pick-up the Spring-Summer Semesters permit from:

Students may pick-up the Spring-Summer Semesters permit from:

  • Barnes & Noble Bookstore, C-60

Anyone entering during hours of operation can exit anytime after the garage closes by
entering through the main lobby on Jackson.

DOWNTOWN CAMPUS SAFETY TIPS

Do not travel alone in public areas, or stand alone at the bus stop, or corner. Keep alert for person(s) following you. Be wary of strangers offering assistance. Don't openly wear or display jewelry or handbags. The Downtown Campus of IIT provides year-round security officer escorts after 5:00 PM weekdays and on weekends. 

SHUTTLE BUS SCHEDULE

Please note that the IIT shuttle bus will operate on the holiday schedule beginning Saturday, December 24, through Monday, January 2. We will resume the regular schedule on Tuesday, January 3. All schedules including the holiday schedule can be found at:

Faculty, staff, students and student organizations can reserve rooms at the Downtown Campus for meetings, study, speaker events, etc. An electronic form is available online. An email will be sent to you confirming your reservation within 24 business hours.
