From the Dean

Dean Harold J. Krent

What Makes Chicago-Kent Great?

For more than 125 years, IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law has prepared students for distinguished careers in the law. Chicago-Kent continually has adapted curriculum and programs to prepare students to excel in the rapidly evolving legal market.

Our alumni are proof positive of our success.

The Office of Admissions created this What Makes A Law School Great video showcasing our achievements. If you have not seen it yet, take a look. Chicago-Kent is proud to be the place where you launched your future, and I encourage you to share this video with your friends, colleagues, and any future law students that you may know.

Our alumni community is also one of our greatest assets. Your interactions with current and prospective Chicago-Kent students introduce them to the work of practicing attorneys and can shape their career paths. Please consider volunteering for Alumni-Student ConneKtions Week or our Alumni Ambassadors program. Your involvement can make a significant impact upon the career of a future member of the Chicago-Kent alumni community.

Sincerely,

Harold J. Krent
Dean and Professor of Law

There's Still Time to Volunteer for Alumni-Student ConneKtions Week
Share your experience with current Chicago-Kent students and help them gain valuable career-related skills by assisting with informational interviews, mock interviews, Coffee ConneKtions or job shadowing during the week of February 16-20. Become a Chicago-Kent Alumni Ambassador

Help Chicago-Kent recruit the best and brightest law students by serving as an Alumni Ambassador. Alumni Ambassadors contact admitted students and answer any questions or concerns they may have about attending Chicago-Kent. This personal outreach can go a long way in attracting top students to our great law school. Contact takes place February through April, and is a great way to get involved with the law school. For more information, visit our website here.
