Composite Photos for Fall 07 and Spring 08 Graduates (J.D. and LL.Ms)

All slots for fall composite photos have been filled. More sessions will take place in February 2008.

If you signed up to have your composite photo taken, please be prompt. Photo sessions will be in Room 325 and we ask that you come well-prepared. A few details:

  • There is no charge to be photographed the first time:
    • There is no charge to appear on the composite. You may select your photo from 10 proofs.
    • If you wish to be rephotographed, there will be a fee of $15.00
  • You are welcome to order a class composite:
    • The optional 12 x 18 composite is $42.00, which should be paid at the time of the sitting (includes shipping). Please be sure to give the photographer a permanent address that will most likely not change after graduation so the composite photo can get to you. Composite photos will be mailed out in July and August 2008.
    • Full retouched graduation portrait packages are available. More info will be at the sitting.

Commencement Information

Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 Graduates: The Office of Alumni Relations is your home for Commencement 2008! Please watch your email for announcements and updates throughout the year. For questions, please email any questions to or visit the Commencement Portal online.


Fall 2007 Graduates (both J.D. & LL.M.):

If you are planning to graduate this December, you MUST submit a graduation application to the Registrar's Office immediately (Deadline was September 14, 2007.)

  • To complete the form online, log in to your webmail account; click on the Web for Students icon in lower left portion of the left frame; select "Application for Graduation" under the "Online Forms" heading; please complete every field to submit your selection. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once a graduation audit has been performed.
  • Any changes you make to your schedule after the audit may affect your graduation requirements. You should check with the Registrar's Office prior to making any changes
  • Please note: The Registrar's Office does conduct graduation audits on all applications, but it is your responsibility to make certain all requirements for graduation are met. If you have any questions, please stop by the office on the 2nd floor.

Are you planning to participate in the Commencement ceremony?
If so, you have 2 options:

  1. IIT Commencement Ceremony in December 2007 – See for more information. If you would like to participate in this ceremony, please contact Tara Anderson at immediately.
  2. Chicago-Kent Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 18, 2007 – Visit for updates and watch your email during the spring for more detailed information. You MUST indicate on the graduation application or the student information form your intent to participate in the spring ceremony.

We are excited to welcome you into the Chicago-Kent Alumni Community! But first, we’d like to learn a little more about you…so please take a few moments to fill out our mandatory student information form. All information is strictly confidential. This form is required to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. Fill out the form online here:


Spring 2008 Graduates (both J.D. & LL.M.):

Your deadline to submit the graduation application will be 2 weeks after the spring semester begins. We will send follow-up information at the beginning of the spring semester.

Save-the-Date!! Your official commencement ceremony will take place Sunday, May 18, 2008 at the Arie Crown Theatre, McCormick Place.

Commencement details are available on the Chicago-Kent website at This site is updated regularly, so it is your responsibility to check the site and your email frequently for the most up to date information.

In order to participate in the commencement ceremony, you are required to fill out a Student Information form. Your student information form will be available later in the semester. Please do not fill out the form for December graduates unless you are graduating at the end of the semester.
