Career Services Alumni Volunteer Opportunities
Alumni volunteers in the Career Services Office are a great asset in educating the future generation of lawyers. Volunteers are needed to teach interview techniques, discuss career paths, and impart general knowledge and experiences. Take advantage of the following opportunities by contacting kentcso@kentlaw.edu.
- Mentor
Consider becoming an alumni mentor to an incoming 1L student to build relationships and make a profound difference in the life of an aspiring lawyer. The commitment is small, but the opportunity to shape a future is enormous.
- Mock Interviews
Conduct practice interviews with students to prepare them for a real interview.
- Resumé Review
Look at students’ resumés and provide advice on how to improve for their job search.
- Alumni Panels
Participate in panel discussions regarding different practice areas, practice settings, job search, and interviewing.
