Experience with the New Tax Compliance
and Accounting Environment, Including Uncertain Tax Positions
»Todays tax directors are facing challenges on a number
of different fronts. Increased focus on internal controls as mandated
by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act has brought heightened scrutiny by both

Recent FASB activity in connection with Uncertain Tax Positions
has further increased focus on income tax accounting issues. Requirements
for disclosing reportable transactions add to the complex environment.
