Understanding and Planning for Unrelated
Business Income
» This workshop will review the differences between
related and unrelated business income as well as exceptions and
modifications to UBI available under the law. It will look at
the impact of those portions of the Pension Protection Act focused
on UBIT. Finally, it will analyze the impact of new tax cases
and revenue rulings that address UBIT and UBIT planning specifically
focusing on the use of blockers in managing the UBIT tax consequences
of private equity and other alternative investments.

» This workshop will focus on recent legal developments
applicable to 403(b) tax sheltered annuity plans and ineligible
deferred compensation plans under Code Section 457, with a particular

Written notification of cancellation is required. A full tuition
refund is available if notification is received prior to May 18,

and do not cancel your registration in accordance with this policy,
you will be charged 25% of the registration fee.
