THE 22nd ANNUAL PIPER LECTURE  

Labor Relations in the Rapidly Changing Workplace of the New Millennium 

On Friday, April 7, Chicago-Kent will present the 22nd annual Kenneth M. Piper Lecture, Labor Relations in the Rapidly Changing Workplace of the New Millennium, in the Richard B. Ogilvie Auditorium from 11:30-1:00 p.m. 

Jonathan Hiatt, general counsel of the AFL-CIO, William Hobgood, senior vice-president for United Airlines and Professor Katherine Stone of Cornell and Yale are the featured lecturers.  The lecture will address the implications of improved technology, globalization of the economy, increased contingency in employment, and greater racial and ethnic diversity in the 
workplace.  The impact of these and related developments for unions, management and labor relations in general will be discussed. 

All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
