THE DISTINGUISHED LABOR LEADER LECTURE SERIES

Community Organizing for Change: Organized Labor’s Role

On Tuesday, February 27 The Institute for Law and the Workplace, Chicago-Kent College of Law and the Chicago Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO will present the third annual Distinguished Labor Leader Lecture, Community Organizing for Change: Organized Labor’s Role, featuring Michael Fitzgerald, Business Manager and Financial Secretary, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #134. The lecture will take place in the Richard B. Ogilvie Auditorium at 12:00 noon.  There will be a reception immediately following the Lecture. 

All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.

Student volunteer opportunities for law students (JD only) are available for some of the Continuing Legal and Professional Education programs listed below.  If you are interested in providing some of 
your time to volunteer at any of these programs, in exchange for complementary course materials 
and the opportunity to network at conference luncheons and receptions, please stop by the Office 
of Continuing Legal and Professional Education (Suite 673) or e-mail rvicario for more 
information.
