The 19th annual Federal Sector Labor Relations and Labor Law Program On Thursday, September 13, 2001, the law school will present its 19th annual Federal Sector Labor Relations and Labor Law Program. This is the longest running conference on federal sector and postal labor relations and labor law held outside of Washington, D.C. The theme of this year's program is Working Together in a Post-Partnership Environment. The morning portion of the program features a comprehensive plenary panel discussion by nationally recognized leaders in the federal workplace. This is followed by concurrent workshops, providing participants with the opportunity to discuss specific issues with experts in the federal labor relations field. Law students (JD only) enrolled at Chicago-Kent are welcome to attend any or all of the program sessions free of charge (note: course materials are not included; however, copies of the materials will be available in the library at a later date). However, pre-registration is required! To register, please stop by the Office of Continuing Legal and Professional Education (Suite 673) to fill out a registration form or email rvicario. Students must register on or before Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Also, if you are interested in providing some of your time to volunteer
at the program in exchange for complementary course materials and an
opportunity to network at the program luncheon and reception, please
let us know when you stop by the office to register, or by e-mailing
rvicario. ALL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING
Student volunteer opportunities for law students (JD
