IN LEGAL AND TAX ISSUES AFFECTING NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
The 21st annual Conference on Not-For-Profit
Organizations
On Friday, June 7, 2002, the
law school will host the 21st annual conference on
Not-For-Profit Organizations. This one day seminar
is designed to keep accountants, attorneys and not-for-profit
managers up-to-date on the most current developments in
taxation, legislation and regulation of non-profits.
Law students (JD only) enrolled at Chicago-Kent
are welcome to attend any or all of the program sessions
free of charge. Course materials and luncheon are not
included, however copies of the materials will be available
in the library after the program.
If you are interested in volunteering
to work at the conference, in exchange for complementary
course materials and an opportunity to network at the
conference luncheon, please let us know when you stop
by the office (Suite 673) to register, or by e-mailing
rvicario. Pre-registration is required no later than Monday,
June 3, 2002.

Student volunteer opportunities
for law students (JD only) are available for some of the
Continuing Legal and Professional Education programs listed
below. If you are interested in providing some of your
time to volunteer at any of these programs, in exchange
for complementary course materials and the opportunity
to network at conference luncheons and receptions, please
stop by the Office of Continuing Legal and Professional
Education (Suite 673) or e-mail rvicario for more information.
