ATTENTION - ALL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN FEDERAL SECTOR
LABOR LAW
The 23rd annual Federal Sector Labor Relations and Labor
Law Program
On Thursday, September 22, 2005, the law school will present
its 23rd annual Federal Sector Labor Relations and Labor
Law Program. This is the longest running conference on federal
sector and postal labor relations and labor law held outside
of Washington, D.C. The theme of this year's program is
The New Civil Service: Up and Running? The morning
portion of the program features a comprehensive plenary
panel discussion by nationally recognized leaders in the
federal workplace. This is followed by concurrent workshops
that provide the opportunity to discuss specific issues
with experts in the federal labor relations field. Click

Law students (JD only) enrolled at Chicago-Kent are welcome
to attend any or all of the program sessions free of
charge. Course materials, luncheon and reception are
not included, however, copies of the materials will be available
in the library after the program.
If you are interested in volunteering to work at the conference,
in exchange for a copy of the course materials and an opportunity
to network at the conference luncheon and reception, please
let us know when you stop by the office (Room 675) to register,
or by e-mailing Rae Ann (rvicario). Pre-registration is
required no later than Tuesday, September 20, 2005.
