Labor Relations Law Conference

Dynamic interactive discussion with leading public sector labor relations lawyers and practitioners is the focus of the annual conference being held on Friday, November 13, 2009. Highlights include: IELRA Developments; Interest Arbitration; Federal Legislative Developments; IPLRA Developments; Charter Schools & Other Hot Topics in Education; What's Happening in Arbitration: 14 Penn Plaza v. Pyett and More; State Legislative Developments;The Role of Labor Relations in Chicago’s Bid for the Olympics; Nuts & Bolts: Dealing with Harassment Allegations; Labor Relations in Hard Times: Organizing, Rifs, Furloughs, & Benefit Restructuring; Police & Firefighter Forum; The Constitution and Labor Relations; Managing Conflicts of Interest; Revisiting Labor Board Remedies; Effective Use of Mediation.

Law students (JD only) enrolled at Chicago-Kent are welcome to attend any or all of the program sessions free of charge. Course materials and luncheon are not included; however, copies of the materials will be available in the library after the program.
