The 27th annual Section 1983 Civil Rights Litigation Conference
On Thursday and Friday, April 15-16, 2010, Chicago-Kent will present Professor Sheldon Nahmod’s 27th annual Section 1983 conference. The conference features nationally prominent law professors and practitioners who offer instruction on both the fundamentals and the more advanced aspects of §1983 practice and trial skills, and analyze the latest case decisions.

The 29th annual Federal Tax Institute
On Thursday and Friday, April 29-30, 2010, the law school will present the 29th annual Federal Tax Institute. Nationally recognized tax advisors will provide a comprehensive, practical update on the latest newsworthy tax developments and their impact on tax planning, compliance and controversy techniques for accountants, lawyers, corporate tax directors and staff. This year’s keynote speaker is William D. Alexander, Associate Chief Counsel (Corporate), IRS.
