Valuation Solutions for Business Attorneys & CFOs

On Thursday, October 12, 2017, Chicago-Kent collaboration with the Illinois Institute for Continuting Legal Education and MazarsUSA will present Valuation Solutions for Business Attorneys & CFOs. Valuation issues impact every facet of the business law practice. Come learn about timely topics such as choosing the most effective valuation methodology, maximizing value when monetizing business interests, managing litigation risk, pressure-testing your succession plan, and understanding the impact the Trump administration will have on the value of business interests. 

Law students (JD only) enrolled at Chicago-Kent are welcome to attend any or all of the program sessions free of charge. Course materials and reception are not included; however, copies of the materials will be available in the library after the program. Special student rate available. Attend the program, lunch and reception for $49. Students can pre-register to attend by emailing

Fin(Legal)Tech Law Conference

The 9th Annual Conference on Futures & Derivatives

On Friday, November 3, 2017 Chicago-Kent will present the 9th annual conference on Futures & Derivatives. This conference offers a day of practical and informed discussions on the most recent legal, regulatory and enforcement developments affecting futures and derivatives practice.

Law students (JD only) enrolled at Chicago-Kent are welcome to attend any or all of the program sessions free of charge. Course materials and reception are not included; however, copies of the materials will be available in the library after the program.

The 33rd Annual Illinois Public Sector
Labor Relations Law Conference

Dynamic interactive discussion with leading public sector labor relations lawyers and practitioners is the focus of the annual conference being held on Friday, December 1, 2017. Law students (JD only) enrolled at Chicago-Kent are welcome to attend any or all of the program sessions free of charge. Course materials and luncheon are not included; however, copies of the materials will be available in the library after the program.
