Distinguished Professor Lecture
Distinguished Professor David Gerber presented to the faculty a lecture
incident to his promotion to the Distinguished Professor rank, on comparing
legal experience in the U.S. and Europe as a determinant of future approaches
to international competition law, explaining varying preferences for cooperation,
convergence and explicit frameworks as mechanisms for competition principles.
Center for Law and Computers
Professor Staudt and the Center for Law and Computers are taking action

Russian Professor Visits Chicago-Kent
Dr. Irina Bogdanovskaia of the Institute of State and Law, Russian Academy
of Science, is a leading scholar on comparative constitutional law in Russia.
Currently a visiting scholar at Georgetown, she spent three days at Chicago-Kent
as the guest of the Global Law and Policy Initiative and the Institute
for Science, Law and Technology. Dr. Bogdanovskaia discussed current
constitutional developments in Russia.
