Dean's Roundtable featuring Robert G. Hershenhorn
Please join me on Monday, November 26, 2007, when alumnus Robert G. Hershenhorn, Class of 1968, will be our fourth Dean’s Roundtable speaker. Robert is the Chairman of the Board of First Bank & Trust Company of Illinois, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hershenhorn Bancorporation. For 2005 and 2006, First Bank/Illinois was ranked 2nd out of approximately 200 Chicago area banks based on return on average assets by Crain’s Chicago Business. The Roundtable will convene at 12:00 p.m. in Room 800. Lunch will be served.
Spaces at the Roundtable are limited and will be available on a first- to- respond basis, with preference to JD students. If you would like to attend, you must reserve a spot with Insa Blanke at iblanke@kentlaw.edu . She will confirm your registration. Also, let her know if you have any dietary restrictions.
Since graduation from law school, Robert has been involved in the practice of law, real estate development and syndication, oil and gas exploration and development, corporate mergers and acquisitions, bank, motion pictures, economic consulting and forecasting, management consulting, and civic, educational and charitable causes. At age 25 he was one of the first condominium converters in the country. He is co-founder with Edward Lazear, the current Chairman of President Bush’s Council of Economic Advisors, of Chicago Econometrics & Forecasting Associates, a national interest rate forecasting firm. He was also a principal of Cradleboard Productions, an independent film production company, with offices in Chicago and the west coast.
I encourage you to join us to hear about Robert’s varied and successful business career.
Have a great Thanksgiving Holiday!
