April 5: 33rd Annual Kenneth M. Piper Lecture.

Pauline Kim, Charles Nagel Professor of Law at Washington University School of Law will present "Privacy, Loyalty and Free Speech: Pushing the Boundaries of the Modern Employment Relationship" on April 5th at 11:30a in the Auditorium. Arnold H. Pedowitz, Pedowitz & meister LLP and Lisa Callaway, The Managment Associaton of Illinois, will provide commentary.

April 6: State of the Law School Address.

I would like to invite you to my State of the Law School Address on Wednesday, April 6th, at 4:45p in the Auditorium. I will discuss recent developments and ask for your reactions and suggestions. Following my remarks, the SBA will present its annual awards.

April 12: Centennial Visitor Lecture.

Martha Minow, the Dean of Harvard Law School, will be this year’s Centennial Visitor.  Dean Minow, author of numerous articles and books on a range of legal subjects, will spend Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she will give a Public Lecture, entitled “In Brown’s Wake:  Reassessing the School Equality Landmark,” from 3:30p – 4:30p in the Auditorium.  There will be a Wine & Cheese Reception following the lecture in the Lobby.  We invite the Chicago-Kent community to attend Dean Minow’s Lecture and the reception afterward.
