1098-T forms used to claim tax credits for expenses paid for postsecondary education will be mailed out to qualifed students in the upcoming weeks. As a result of the late release of IRS reporting requirement information from the federal government, schools are experiencing delays in 1098-T form mailings. We are making every effort to supply students with this form as soon as possible.

The firm deadline for Financial Aid to receive Student Aid Reports is APRIL 15, 1999. If you have not already done so, complete your FAFSA today! The Department of Education's web address for the FAFSA is www.fafsa.ed.gov
The Summer Financial Aid Application to request and receive financial aid for the Summer 1999 term is available in the Office of Financial Aid. In order to have financial aid processed, you must have a complete 1999-2000 file with the Office of Financial Aid that includes, but is not limited to, a Student Aid Report and Stafford or alternative loan application. You must register for at least three credit hours to get financial aid (six credit hours for the Stafford loan).
If you intend to study abroad for the Summer 1999 term, you will have to complete an additional form. In studying abroad, you may also want to consider having a power of attorney to act on your behalf with our office in your absence. Both the Study Abroad Financial Aid Request forms and Power of Attorney forms are available in our office.
The Student Aid Report, loan applications and other associated Summer financial aid forms must be submitted by MARCH 1, 1999 for priority processing.
The Office of Financial Aid is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We are located on the second floor in Suite 230. Please feel free to stop in our office during business hours with any concerns or questions you may have.
