Chicago-Kent Basketball 75 Years Ago
In 1922 the Chicago-Kent basketball team had a record of 5-3, which wasn't bad considering it was a brand new team and had no gym of its own.  The team was allowed to use the Continental and Commercial National Bank gym once a week.  The practice must have paid off because they beat the bank team 36-7 that year.  For more Chicago-Kent history, check out The Transcript at KF 292.C42 A8 in the Information Center.

Reference Staff Offers Tutorials on CIS
This week's tutorial is about doing research in CONGRESSIONAL INFORMATION SERVICE, popularly known as CIS.  The Reference Staff of the Information Center will be presenting the tutorials.  Each one will last approximately 20 minutes. You don't have to sign up for a tutorial; just come to the reference desk at any of the scheduled times. The schedule for this week's tutorials  will be posted on the 9th floor Information Center Bulletin board.   If you have any suggestions regarding future topics or times offered, please email Lenore Glanz  (email: LGLANZ).
