Illinois Legislative History Tutorial
This week's tutorial will be on how to do Illinois Legislative History.  We will show you what materials are available in the Information Center, and how to use them to find the information that you need.  You can find the tutorial schedule posted in the entry way of the library.  There is no need to sign up to attend; just come to the Reference Desk at the scheduled time.  If you have questions or suggestions regarding tutorials, please email Liz Robb (EROBB).

Your Current Student ID is Your Library Card
Your Student ID, with a current sticker, is what you need to check out materials, reserve study rooms, and to use faculty reserve items.

Media Services Policy
The Media Services Department receives many inquiries regarding signs and posters. While Media Services does not create signs, we do display them.  8 1/2 x 11 signs can be placed in the glass case located in the front lobby or on a black stand. 11x17 enlargements are created by the College Service Center and can be attached to poster board and placed on a wooden easel. The 23" posters are created by the Document Center and can be brought to the Media Services office (Room 160) for display. Posters to go in the lobby can only be displayed there the day of the event.  All display materials can be obtained from Media Services.  For requests or inquiries email MEDIASVC.

Media Services Video Recordings
BLSA's Martin Luther King Day Program: The guest speakers were Marvin Gray (Chicago-Kent alumnus) and the Hon. R. Eugene Pinchum.
Criminal Justice Society: Guest speaker Prof. David Rudstein discussed the Harry Aleman case.

The tapes can be viewed in the Media Room (680H).  You can check out tapes and reserve the room at the 9th Floor Service Desk.

Employer Resumes on eLOISe
Access the Employer Resume database on eLOISe, and you will find questionnaires and resumes completed by numerous law firms.  The information includes firm size, areas of practice, contacts, and demographics.  You can access eLOISe by using "STUDENT" as your user ID and password. Use the application "EMPRES", and search by firm name, size, location, or year of resume submission.  Once you have retrieved a document, it can be printed to the Document Center. Please feel free to ask a Reference Librarian if you need assistance with eLOISe.
