Federal Statutes Tutorial
The tutorial for this week is on how to find and use federal statutes. We will cover Statutes at Large, U.S. Code, U.S.C.A., U.S.C.S, as well as using citators to help you find cases and secondary authority on specific statutes. There is no need to sign up for tutorials; just come to the Reference Desk at the scheduled time. You can find the schedule for the week posted in the entry way of the library.  If you have questions or suggestions regarding tutorials please email Liz Robb (EROBB).

Copy Cards
The Information Center has a new copy card system. If you have copy cards from the old system you can exchange them for full value until September 7. New copy cards can be purchased in the 9th Floor copy room.

LEXIS and Westlaw Passwords and Student IDs
Westlaw and LEXIS passwords and Student IDs for new first year students are available at the 9th Floor Service Desk.  The Lexis software has not yet arrived, but we will alert you here in the Record when it comes in.

Librarians are Available in Computer Lab 700
Reference Librarians are available in Computer Lab 700 Monday - Friday from 10am until noon.  If you have computer reference questions about LEXIS, Westlaw, searching the Internet, or anything else computer related, please ask us.

Faculty Reserve
The 9th Floor Service Desk is where Faculty Reserve items are kept. If your professor indicates that he or she has put books, videotapes, photocopies or audio tapes "on reserve",  you can check them out with your Student ID. These items can be used for 2 hours at a time within the library.
