Fall Semester Hours

Faculty Exams in the Document Center
If you need sample exams for classes from previous semesters, please ask at the Document Center.  All of the exams that were available on ELOISE are on file at the Document Center.   Remember that the exams available are only those for which the professor has given us permission to distribute.

ELOISE, the online imaging database, contains exams from recent years.  It has been temporarily unavailable because of the network migration to Windows NT.  Occasionally students may need copies of older exams given prior to 1990.  These are available in print format on the 10th floor.

Document Center hours are listed below.

Illinois Legislative History Tutorial
If you're interested in learning how to research legislative history for Illinois statutes, be sure to check out this week's Information Center tutorial.  You can find the tutorial schedule posted in the entry way of the library.  There is no need to sign up to attend; just come to the Reference Desk at the scheduled time.  If you have any questions or suggestions regarding tutorials, please e-mail Joe Mitzenmacher (JMITZENM).

Databases Available on Information Center Home Page
The Information Center has made two databases available for on-campus use.  Colombia International Affairs Online (CIAO) focuses on international research, and includes working papers from research institutes, papers from NGOs, conference proceedings, policy briefs, and economics indicators.  EBSCOhost Web provides access to the full texts of journal articles, including large collections of business-
and health-related topics, as well as articles from mainstream periodicals.  Links to both databases can be found on the Information Center's home page, infoctr.iit.edu

Reminder: Weekend Reference Hours
Please remember to take advantage of the fact that a librarian is available on both Saturday, 9 - 5 and Sunday, noon - 8.  Reference Librarians can assist with your research.

Study Rooms
Study rooms are available for law student study groups.  Each person in the group can reserve a room for one hour per week.  Rooms can be reserved at the service desk with a student ID.

The Information Center Web page is located at   infoctr.iit.edu
