Special Issue of Library Newsletter
The Orientation issue of the Library Newsletter is available at the Service Desk.  It contains helpful information for new and returning students about using the Library.

In addition to the newsletter, library tutorials are also available to assist you in using the Library.  In the first Library tutorial of the Fall Semester, we will show you how to use CLARK, the Library's Online Catalog, to help you find materials you need in the Library.  You can find the tutorial schedule posted in the entry way of the Library.  There is no need to sign up to attend; just come to the Reference Desk at the scheduled time.  If you have any questions or suggestions regarding tutorials, please e-mail Joe Mitzenmacher (JMITZENM).

Resource of the Week
CCH Tax Research Network.  This resource provides tax and business information.  Searches can be done in the federal, state, and financial and estate tax sections.

Library Food and Drink Policy
1) Drinks are permitted, except in the computer labs,  if they are in a reusable hard plastic or metal container with a permanent lid that does not have to be removed to drink.  Water is allowed in a standard water bottle with a securable cap.

Not allowed are: cans, styrofoam or paper cups, or soft drinks in bottles.

2) Food is not permitted in the Library.

3) No food or drinks of any kind are allowed in the computer labs.

Free mugs that comply with this policy are available at the Service Desk.  They are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and one mug is available per person.  The mugs have been donated by Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis, so there are two different styles.

Please Guard Your Valuables
Personal belongings, such as laptops, wallets, purses, briefcases, cell phones and Palmtops should be carried with you any time you leave your study area.
