Library Hours

Library Hours for Saturday and Sunday, August 14-15 are as follows:

Saturday, August 14 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 15 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Reference librarian hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Fall Library Hours - Begin August 16

Sunday: 10:00 a.m - 10:00 p.m.
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Reference Librarian Hours

Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Labor Day Holiday Weekend Library Hours

Saturday (September 4): 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday (September 5): CLOSED
Monday (September 6): CLOSED

General Library Policies

Please be courteous and respect your fellow students by keeping your voices down and your study areas clean. Food should remain outside the library. If you must bring a cell phone, please turn it off or set the ringer to vibrate, and remember to take the phone outside the library before you start your conversation. Drinks may be brought into the library, provided that you dispose of the container in the appropriate recycling bin when you are finished. The Library staff wishes to remind all students that the Library is open to the public, and students should guard against petty thefts by keeping their laptops and other valuables close at all times.

New Staff

Stephanie Crawford
Stephanie Crawford has joined the Library staff as a reference librarian. Stephanie received her MLS in Library Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her JD from Chicago-Kent (01). Prior to her arrival at Downtown Campus Library, Stephanie worked at the Will County Legal Assistance Program and the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago.

Eric Neagle
Eric Neagle has joined the Library staff as the Circulation Supervisor. Eric received his MS in Information from the University of Michigan and his BS in Sociology from the University of Louisville. Prior to his arrival at Downtown Campus Library, Eric worked for the University of Michigan's Public Health Library and Hatcher Graduate Library from 2001-2003 and the University of Louisville's Ekstrom Library from 1993-2001.
