General Library Policies

Please be courteous and respect your fellow students by keeping your voices down and your study areas clean. Food should remain outside the library. If you must bring a cell phone, please turn it off or set the ringer to vibrate, and remember to take the phone outside the library before you start your conversation. Drinks may be brought into the library, provided that you dispose of the container in the appropriate recycling bin when you are finished. No food or drinks of any kind are allowed in the computer labs. You can find more library policies online: http://library.kentlaw.edu/services/students.htm

The Library staff wishes to remind all students that the Library is open to the public, and students should guard against petty thefts by keeping their laptops and other valuables close at all times.

Ninth Floor Book Shifting Project

The Library Staff is continuing the reorganization of the 9th Floor that we began last summer. We hope that the new arrangement will provide improved access to collections and make more space on shelves that are too crowded. Of particular note is that the Labor Law materials are now in one combined location. If you are having difficulty locating an item, please ask for assistance at the Reference or Circulation desk where maps showing the current locations of materials may be consulted.
