General Library Policies
Please be courteous and respect your fellow students by keeping your voices down and your
study areas clean. Food should remain outside the library. If you must bring a cell phone,
please turn it off or set the ringer to vibrate, and remember to take the phone outside the
library before you start your conversation. Drinks may be brought into the library, provided
that you dispose of the container in the appropriate recycling bin when you are finished.
No food or drinks of any kind are allowed in the computer labs. You can find more library
policies online: http://library.kentlaw.edu/services/students.htm
The Library staff wishes to remind all students that the Library is open to the public, and
students should guard against petty thefts by keeping their laptops and other valuables close
at all times.
In recognition of United Nations Day on October 24, the new exhibit in the Library’s display cases features a selection of materials
about the UN. The display, which will run through October, includes a timeline of important milestones in the history of the UN,
and also highlights UN resources that are available in the Library. And if you need a study break, you can test your knowledge with our
UN-themed crossword puzzle available at the display. Also try our
crossword puzzle online version. The Library is a
UN Depository Library, and the display draws from the Library's strong collection of UN materials.
