ABA Judicial Intern Opportunity Program
The Judicial Intern Opportunity Program ("JIOP") is open to all first- and second-year students who are financially disadvantaged and/or members of underrepresented ethnic groups in the legal profession, providing them the opportunity to spend six weeks clerking in the chambers of a federal or state judge. In addition, this year, five students with special skills or background in intellectual property law will be placed with judges likely to have IP cases.

Finnegan Henderson Diversity Scholarship
The Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, L.L.P. scholarship will provide financial support to qualified students from underrepresented minority groups who have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing a career in IP law.
Students completing their first year full-time or second year part-time are invited to apply. The award will be applied to education costs the following year, and may be renewed for one additional year if the scholar accepts an associate offer upon successful completion of the Finnegan Henderson summer associate program and maintains a GPA of 3.0 or better in law school.
The scholarship award of $12,000 may be applied to costs associated with normal tuition, usual fees, and a patent bar review course. The scholarship recipient will also accept an offer to join the firm as a summer associate in one of our domestic offices.
