Nucha Jeeradith

Nucha JeeradithNucha Jeeradith graduated from Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand with a Bachelor of Laws in 2003. He decided to pursue another legal degree and enrolled in Chicago-Kent’s LL.M.-Program in International Intellectual Property Law from which he graduated in 2005. Upon graduation, Mr. Jeeradith returned to Thailand where he worked for Chairapee International Law Office until, in September 2006, he assumed his current position as a Legal Officer for the Customs Department of Thailand.

In this capacity, Nucha Jeeradith focuses on trade-related aspects of intellectual property rights. He represents Thailand in meetings of the American Chamber of Commerce and various international organizations such as the World Customs Organization. He is the designated legal expert in negotiations for the “India-Thailand Free Trade Agreement” and the “ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement” as well as the “Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation”.

Mr. Jeeradith says: "The IP Program at Chicago-Kent is known for its demanding curriculum and prominent faculty, especially Prof. Dinwoodie. The program tremendously helped me to broaden my knowledge in IP. Being a graduate from Chicago-Kent I was offered the best opportunities to further my career in that field".
