Summer Publication Schedule for The Record
Please note that the Record changes over to a biweekly summer publication schedule beginning with the May 20, 2002, issue. All headline submissions must be received by noon of the Thursday prior to the issue date for inclusion in the main headline Record page of the next issue. As always, please e-mail your submissions to record@kentlaw.edu.
Please remember that the main Record headline page is uploaded on Fridays at noon. All individual department/organization Record announcement pages should be uploaded on Friday afternoon as well so that the headlines will match the current announcements. Also, the Record archiving program runs automatically over the weekend. If Record pages are not uploaded to the server until Monday, they will not be be archived.
The entire summer publication schedule and deadlines are as follows:

Please note that Orientation Week begins August 19, marking a return to the regular weekly publication schedule for the academic year.

Special note to administrative departments and student organizations:
If you find that the content of your Record page will not change regularly during the summer, please consider altering the content of your page to include general information (such as how to contact your office) so the content does not become extremely outdated. You may also consider changing the red dateline on your page to "Summer 2002" to avoid this problem.
Chicago-Kent Names in the News

New Record design
The Record has changed its graphic presentation.
The basic structure of the Record remains the same,
with a main headline page that links to individual announcement
pages. Aside from a new graphic treatment, the redesigned
Record features new categories to group headline
entries and employs enhanced cross-linking to other areas
of the Chicago-Kent Web site.
Student organizations: Please use the new customizable template page to create your first Record announcement page incorporating the new design and navigation. Check with the CLC's Help
