The Record returns to weekly fall schedule
The Record resumes its weekly fall publication schedule beginning with the August 16, 2004, issue. All headline submissions must be received by noon of the Thursday prior to the issue date for inclusion in the main headline Record page of the next issue. As always, please e-mail your submissions to email@example.com.
Please remember that the main Record headline page is uploaded on Fridays at noon. All individual department/organization Record announcement pages should be uploaded on Friday afternoon so that the headlines will match the current announcements. Also, the Record archiving program runs automatically over the weekend. If Record pages are not uploaded to the server until Monday, they will not be be archived.
Student organization Record postings
During the month of September, the CLC and the Office of Public Affairs will offer training sessions for those organizations that donít already have a Record page or that do not have a member who can maintain and upload an existing Record page. To accommodate organizations that cannot post announcements prior to training, the Office of Public Affairs will post announcements for them on a consolidated student organization page through the week of October 4, 2004. Simply e-mail the announcement to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, and we will post them on the general student organization Record page.
Please check The Record for information on the forthcoming training sessions. Once the sessions are completed and the October 4 issue passes, organizations will be responsible for maintaining and uploading their own Record pages.
Student organizations: Please use the customizable template page to create your first Record announcement page incorporating the Record design and navigation. Check with the CLC's Help Desk, email@example.com,
extension 6-5300, room 525, if you have questions about posting Record announcements.
