Grading Deadlines and Class Ranks
All grades for the Fall semester are due to the Registrar's
Office no later than Saturday, January 24, 2004. We will
publish final grades as soon as they are submitted to us.
Please continue to check your webmail account for updated
information.
Once we have received all Fall grades, we will calculate
and release fall class ranks for all upper level students.
First-year students are not ranked until the end of the
Spring semester. Transcripts and other official correspondence
relating to the Fall term will also be available at that
time.
If you have any questions regarding your grades, academic
status, or the like, please contact the Registrar's Office.
July Bar Examination Application Deadline
The regular filing deadline for the July exam is a postmark
of February 1. After a postmark of February 1, but on or
before the late filing deadline of April 1, applications
will be accepted with a filing fee of $500 in addition to
the applicable registration fees. After a postmark of April
1, but on or before the final late filing deadline of May
31, applications will be accepted with a filing fee of $1000
in addition to the applicable registration fees.
The Dean's Certificate of completion will be automatically
generated and sent to the Illinois Bar Examiner for all
students who complete a graduation application and successfully
complete all graduation requirements. If you intend on graduating
in the Spring semester, you must file a graduation application
with the Registrar's office no later than January 30, 2004.
Graduation Application Deadline
An application for Graduation must be filed by every student
no later than 2 weeks in to the semester in which they intend
to graduate. The deadline for the Spring semester is January
30, 2004. You may complete the form online by;
- Log in to your webmail account
- Click on the "Web for Students" icon in lower
left portion of the left frame
- Select "Application for Graduation" under
the "Online Forms" heading
- Complete the full form (Please complete every field)
- Submit your selection
You will receive a confirmation email once a graduation
audit has been performed. Please note that any changes you
make to your schedule after the audit may affect your graduation
requirements. You should check with the Registrar's Office
prior to making any changes.
Pass/Fail Election Deadline
Pass Fail elections for the Spring semester must be made
online no later than February 13, 2004. Please review §
2.4 "Pass/Fail Election" of the student handbook
if you have any questions regarding your pass/fail elections.
In order to make your election you should;
- Log in to your webmail account
- Click on the "Web for Students" icon in lower
left portion of the left frame
- Select the "Take Class Pass/Fail option" under
the "Online Forms" heading
- Select the course you would like to take on a pass/fail
basis
- Submit your selection
The Registrar's Office will review your request, determine
your eligibility and notify you of the status.
Making Up an Incomplete Grade
If you plan on making up an Incomplete grade in a course
from a previous semester, you should complete the appropriate
form on the Web for Students. DO NOT REGISTER FOR THE
COURSE. Registering for the course will cause the calculation
of tuition charges on your account. Instead, please notify
the Registrar's Office by;
- Log in to your webmail account
- Click on the "Web for Students" icon in lower
left portion of the left frame
- Select the "Enroll to retake Incomplete class"
under the "Online Forms" heading
- Select the course
- Submit your selection
The Registrar's Office will add you to the exam and course
rosters and notify your professor. You will not appear on
any "official" roster.
Student Health Insurance
Students who wish to enroll or waive health coverage for
the spring term must do so by January 26, 2004. Please visit
the health insurance information site at http://www.enrollment.iit.edu/stu_accounts/insurance/
for the appropriate forms.
